The article considers the digitalization of the Russian transport industry in the context of the digital transformation of the Russian economy.A meta!analysis of the «digital maturity» of the Russian transport industry, the place and role of the Director of digital data and Director of digital technologies in the company, the main channels and tools of customer communications, and digital innovations is conducted. The «digital maturity» of Russian transport industry enterprises in the application of data science methods and models is evaluated. In the modern world, digitalization of organizational processes and systems has become an important factor in increasing the competitiveness and development of Russian business structures. The emergence of such a «Joe ker» as p andemia COVID–19, the effect of which seemed to be significant not only in the framework of a separate organization or a country, but also in all the planets, led to significant changes in the economic situation in the country, including in its transport system. The digitalization of the management system of JSC «Russian Railways», which has already begun, is now continuing in a new, changing situation. It is proposed to analyze some aspects of the created situation in the digitalization of the management system and its correction with the account of the created conditions.

The Government of Jordan (the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) accepted quite an ambitious Economic Action Plan for 2019—2020 where the country's development priorities are clearly defined. The plan is aimed at the development and maintenance of a business-friendly environment, reforms on the financial market and in the social and economic field. However, for mitigating the economic effects caused by the regional crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, a sufficient financial support is needed, and the Government wants to get it from the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. It is important to note the austerity measures introduced by the Government in May 2018, including an increase in income tax, which resulted in the general strike of major retail store chains and mass riots among the population.

Jordan shares borders with two unstable countries: Syria and Iraq. In this regard, all the negative consequences ofwars and conflicts in these countries were an additional burden for the Kingdom's economy.

Hence, Jordan must consider the possibility of maintaining its economy not in the projects and Economic Action Plans declared by the Government, but in the geopolitical area. For instance, to restore relationships with Syria and improve relationships with Iraq, develop the activity in the Palestinian territories. Activities are underway to implement a coordinated transport policy of the EAEU member states. The development policy of the transport sector of the economies of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union is based on the use of the existing integration potential, the synergistic effect of the joint use of rail, road air and water transport.

This article presents the specifics of the creation and functioning of special economic zones in the global economy based on the world and Russian experience. 

In the system of inter-budgetary relations in the Russian Federation, subsidies for equalizing the budget provision of regions take priority. The article analyzes their distribution, mainly for the subjects of the southern and North Caucasus Federal districts, as regions with the lowest budget security. The authors put forward proposals to improve the efficiency of the distribution of equalizing subsidies to the budgets of the Russian Federation’s constituent entities.
