The importance of small business in the socio–economic development of regions

Abstract
The elimination of imbalances in the socio–economic development of Russian regions is one of the most important goals of national development. This article provides a comparative analysis of enterprises and organizations by type of economic activity in various districts, and also examines the role of entrepreneurship in socio–economic development on the example of the central federal district.
