1980-1987 - Senior Researcher, Institute of Economics, USSR Academy of Sciences;

1987-1990 - Associate Professor, Moscow Socio-Political University;

1990-1996 - First Vice President of the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship;

1996-2014 - President, Rector of the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship;

2014 - p/t - President of the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship.

Full member of the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship and the Academy of Military Sciences. He took part in the development of the "Food Program of the USSR."

The author of more than 200 published scientific papers.

Balabanov Vladimir Semenovich is a well-known professor and scientist in the field of state regulation of the economic system, social processes, the effectiveness of economic development and the institutionalization of entrepreneurship in modern Russia. Important areas of his scientific research are the analysis of the features and prospects for the development of entrepreneurship in Russia, the identification of forms of use in modern Russia of foreign experience in the development of entrepreneurial activity. He published more than 200 methodological, research, educational and methodological works, a third of which are fundamental in nature.
