Abstract

Bahrain is far from the largest country in the Persian Gulf region. It is inhabited by Sunnis and Shiites, and the death in 2020 of Khalifa bin Salman al–Khalifa, the country’s prime minister, caused a wave of unrest. Improving Sunni–Shiite relations in Bahrain has always been difficult. Despite the financial assistance of some Gulf countries, the fiscal picture remains quite gloomy. Recently, it has been ordinary Bahrainis who have suffered from austerity — most of all Shiites who have gained little from the aid of the above–mentioned countries.

The country is striving to diversify its economy understanding the instability of world prices for hydrocarbons, as well as the complex global geopolitical situation caused, among other things, by the events in Ukraine. Along with this, it is advisable to note that Bahrain is the center of the world’s Islamic finance in their regulatory and legislative support.

Experts from world institutions do not give unambiguous assessments and scenarios for the development of a country affected by the crises caused by the pandemic and low prices for hydrocarbons, but many of them talk about the need for further financial assistance to the country with a gradual increase in oil prices.

The article examines the main features and difficulties of auditing according to international auditing standards. The topic is relevant, since such standards are already used in our country. At the same time, the process of their introduction was long and time-consuming. However, this did not lead to their implementation without significant difficulties. New legislative amendments in this area only prove that the topic is relevant. As a result of the work, a conclusion will be drawn about the problems of applying international auditing standards, without solving which their full use in our country is impossible.

Abstract

Today the transport and logistics of the Russian Federation is facing a systemic challenge due to such two main points, among them the incessant packages of sanctions of Western countries and the increase in global international competition. There are also significant restrictions on economic growth in the Russian Federation, which are expressed by the insufficient development of the logistics industry. Currently, there are qualitative and volumetric characteristics of the transport area. In particular, its infrastructure does not allow solving the tasks of a constantly developing economy efficiently and in the right volume and meeting the demand of the innovative sector for high–quality logistics services. Abstract

Economic crises as an object of study are of concern to more than one generation of economists. Modern problems associated with crises relate to many aspects of life, including entrepreneurial activity. At all times, the issues of survival of entrepreneurs in the conditions of the economic crisis have been given a significant role, however, scientists have not developed universal solutions on how enterprises should act in crisis conditions. Various processes, and, first of all, political ones, have a significant impact on the ability of a business to develop in crisis conditions. Under these conditions, the development of effective solutions for the development of business structures in a crisis implies the need for closer interaction between business and the state. The subject of the research is the approaches to the development of entrepreneurial structures in the conditions of the economic crisis. The article substantiates the need for joint work of the state and business structures in a period when the latter are in crisis conditions. The need to protect their own interests of business forces entrepreneurial structures to sacrifice the national interests of the state on whose territory they operate. And here the state should make efforts to achieve its own goals on the basis of partnership with the business environment.

Abstract

The proposed article is intended to consider an urgent and important problem — the spread among modern people of an obsessive addiction to smartphones and a frightening inability to distract from them even during a face–to–face conversation with others. The main goal of this study is to form an integral, scientifically based idea of the relevant socio–psychological and communicative phenomenon of the 21st century, called «phubbing», to analyze its distinctive features and influence on the social behavior and communication of people living in the era of digitalization. To achieve this goal, a comprehensive, interdisciplinary study of the defining characteristics and symptomatic signs of phubbing, the main approaches to the study of the causes and prerequisites for its actualization, as well as the available empirical data on the specifics and frequently occurring forms of embodiment of this phenomenon in various countries of the world is undertaken. In addition, the author focuses on the problem of so–called partner phubbing and its negative impact on a person’s close relationship with his romantic or family partner. The analysis allows us to state that in the modern information society it is very difficult for individuals to avoid strong addiction to smartphones, therefore, the social and communicative phenomenon of phubbing is likely to become an integral attribute of human life for a long time. However, the retribution for excessive attachment to communicative gadgets with a high degree of probability may be the progressive alienation of the subject from nearby relatives and friends. The solution to the problem for modern people can be the acquisition of a reasonable and harmonious combination of real and virtual, offline and online communication. It is this approach that would allow humanity to avoid digital addiction, not to lose the quality and depth of diffuse personal interactions, but rather move along the path of intellectual, emotional and communicative enrichment and self–improvement.
