Biotechnological clusters: background and development trends

Abstract
The main trends in the development of the biotechnological sector of the Russian Federation and its impact on various areas of economic activity are considered. The role of the biotechnological cluster in increasing the competitiveness of domestic biotechnological products and technologies and the development of various sectors of the economy is determined.
